Clubs enter the countryside with homage to Chapecoense

Just like last Tuesday, clubs around the world continue to pay homage to Chapecoense club, which suffered one of the biggest tragedies in the history of world football. The plane's delegation from the Santa Catarina team crashed while flying to Medellin, Colombia, for the big decision of the South American Cup this season. In all, 71 people died, being 19 players, while only six survived.

In a game valid for the King's Cup against Leonesa at the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid paid tribute to the victims of the accident in Colombia. All the merengue players entered the field with the following message on the front of the shirt: "Todos Somos Chapecoense"

With the players of the two teams profiled in the midfield, a minute's silence was also respected before the initial whistle.

Another club that paid tribute to Chapecoense was Saint-Étienne. The French club, who is also a greenman, entered the field against Olympique Marseille with the shield of the team from Santa Catarina stamped next to his. The match was valid for the 15th round of the French Championship and took place at the Geoffroy Guichard Stadium.
